Buggy The Clown Arc
After Luffy finally gets Zolo to join his pirate crew they leave the Shells Town in a small dingy and set out towards sea. There food only lasts them a couple of days before they are hungry again. Luffy sees a giant bird flying above them and Luffy atempts to catch it. Luffy launches himself towards the bird and the bird catches Luffy in its mouth and it flys away. Zolo freaks out and paddles the dingy as fast as he can in the direction the bird went. After a little while he stumbles opon a small vacant town. Now all he has to do is find Luffy.
Luffy didnt get into the town as easily. The bird that caught him dropped him while it flew over the town and Luffy fell right smack in front of Nami. It so happened to be that Nami was being chased by Buggys henchmen. Luffy being the awesome guy he is beat the crap out of them as well. Nami was quite impressed and asked Luffy if he would rob pirates with her. Luffy said no and Nami kept asking why until Luffy said that he is a pirate and he is searching for a pirate crew. The thing that Luffy didnt know was that Nami hates pirates and that she would rather die than become one. All that she wants to do is get 1,000,000,000 berries (berries are money) and buy a town. Since Nami figured out that Luffy is a pirate she realised that she could get Buggys map of the Grand Line. ( The Grand Line is were the famous One Piece is supposed to be held) Nami suprises Luffy and ties him up when he wasnt looking and took him to Buggy so that she can join his crew so that she can get the map. Long story short, Buggy trys to get Nami to kill Luffy by shooting a cannon ball right into his face.
Nami starts shaking and getting scared because she has never killed someone before. While she is shaking, another pirate trys to light the cannon for her and she hits him in the face. Five other pirates try to attack her at the same time and TA-DA! Zolo pops out of nowhere and kills them all. Buggy gets really mad and starts a fight with Zolo. The one thing that Zolo doesnt know is that Buggy also has eaten one of the devil fruit. The Chop-chop fruit. It makes it so that no matter how much someone trys they can slice and dice him with a sword but it wont hurt Buggy at all. Zolo of course chops Buggy into tiny bits and he thinks he is dead. Sadly, he isnt. Buggy reasembles himself and stabs Zolo right in the gut. Zolo starts bleeding heavily. Zolo flips the cannon over and aims it towards Buggys crew and fires it makeing a huge explosion. Zolo picks up the cage with Luffy in it spurting blood everywhere and jumps out of the building and runs away. Zolo finally loses so much blood he almost passes out in the street. Another VERY long story short, Luffy beats the crap out of Buggy and recruits Nami as their navigator and they take Buggys map and one of his small boats and the escape from the town.
